Prosthodontics ( Prosthesis)
In general the term prosthetics means an artifical piece that takes the role of an organ in the body which is missing. In dentistry prothethics means artificially replacing one or more teeth and there surrounding structures. It is a part of dentistry that regulates the loss of matter and aesthetic defects in natural teeth alongside with missing teeth and there surrounding oral and maxillofacial tissues. Also to fix chewing,fonation and return the aesthethics to the patient.
